On January 21st, Deputy Consul General Michio Harada attended the Sacramento Bocho Doshi Kai 100th Anniversary New Year's Party. About 280 people, including members of Sacramento Bocho Doshi Kai and guests from Engan Bocho Doshi Kai and other Kenjin Kais, gathered and enjoyed Japanese traditional culture such as taiko drumming and shigin poetry. Deputy Consul General Harada made his congratulatory remarks, mentioning his personal memories of Kintai Bashi Bridge in Yamaguchi, and expressing his hope that Sacramento Bocho Doshi Kai will continue its 100 year legacy into many future generations.
