Transcendental Vision: Japanese Culture and Contemporary Art Back

On January 27th, Deputy Consul General Michio Harada attended the opening ceremony of a Japanese art exhibit called "Transcendental Vision: Japanese Culture and Contemporary Art," held in Sand City. This exhibit collects art work from eleven different contemporary artists from all over the United States. The ceremony gained nearly 300 attendees including Mayor David Pendergrass. In the ceremony, Mayor Pendergrass, Mayor of Sand City, thanked all the people who made the event happen and also presented the proclamation to Deputy Consul General in order to deepen the relationship between Sand City and Japan. The exhibit will be held at the Independent art gallery until February 26th.
