(Project of Japan Tourism Agency as an ¡ÈAll Japan Overseas Promotion¡É)
The Consulate-General of Japan in San Francisco will chair a special event committee comprised mainly of members of the Visit Japan Promotional Group. This committee works together with local private sector organizations to produce an event that showcases Japanese food, alcohol, fashion, architecture, culture, cutting edge technology and more. Event coordination will be handled by Plando Japan Inc. (PDJ).

(5) Purpose and Theme:
The main purpose of the event is to attract more people to visit Japan. In order to do so, the event will focus on the Japanese ¡Ènecessities in life¡É introducing such things as Japanese food, alcohol, fashion, architecture, culture and technology that showcase the charm of Japan, with a view to enticing potential travelers to visit Japan.
(6) The Contents:
The outdoor space will be equipped with an all-weather large tent and about 50 booth sized tents showcasing sightseeing attractions, food, culture, and technology. The large tent will house a stage and seats, along with sound and image equipment for lectures, demonstrations and more. Attendees will be presented with up-to-date tourism information, food & drink samples, sales and exhibition of Japanese goods and technology.
