Art Space Back

The Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco is looking for individuals residing in Northern California and Nevada to submit artwork related to Japan (either in terms of its style and/or theme) to be displayed in our Japan Information Center. We have a small space which can be utilized in a wide variety of ways. Past examples of exhibited artwork have included, but not been limited to, quilts, photography, shibori, earthenware, and Japanese calligraphy.

Those who are interested in using this artspace are encouraged to submit the application form and sample artwork to the following. We are open to considering all abilities or any style of art as long as they represent certain aspects of Japanese art and culture.
