QUALIFICATIONS |

Applicants must hold US citizenship. |
 |
Applicants must have been born between April 2, 1990 and April 1, 1995. |
 |
Applicants must have either completed a 12-year
regular course of school education or graduated from a school equivalent
to senior high school in Japan. Those who will satisfy the above by March 2012 may apply. |
 |
Applicants must be willing to learn the Japanese language and
to receive university education in the Japanese language. |
 |
Applicants must be able to leave for and arrive in Japan between
the 1st and 7th of April 2012. |

All the applicants must take a Japanese
Language Test. Additionally, the following tests are required: |
 |
Social Sciences & Humanities Majors: Mathematics and English |
 |
Natural Sciences Majors: Mathematics, English, two
subjects selected from among Physics, Chemistry and Biology. All
applicants must sit for the
examinations in these five subjects (including the Japanese test).
In the case of Physics, Chemistry and Biology, applicants must
take the examination in the following two subjects according to
their fields of study at university. |

EXAMINATION AND INTERVIEW |

The examinations will be conducted on Friday, August 19, 2011 |

An interview in English will follow the tests. |
