1 Social Sciences and The Humanities (A): Law, Politics, Pedagogy, Sociology, Literature, History, Japanese Language, and other fields.
Social Sciences and The Humanities (B): Economics, Business Administration
2 Natural Sciences (A): Science, Electric & Electronic Studies, Mechanical Studies, Civil Engineering & Architecture, Chemical Studies, and other fields.
3 Natural Sciences (B): Agricultural Studies, Hygienic Studies and Health Sciences
4 Natural Sciences (C): Medicine, Dentistry



ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
1 Applicants must hold US citizenship.
Applicants must have been born between April 2, 1992 and April 1, 1997.
3 Applicants must have either completed a 12-year regular course of school education or graduated from a school equivalent to senior high school in Japan. Those who will satisfy the above by March 2014 may apply.
4 Applicants must be willing to learn the Japanese language and to receive a university education in Japanese..
5 Applicants must be able to leave for and arrive in Japan between the 1st and 7th of April 2014.

COMPLETED APPLICATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY OUR OFFICE NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, JULY 26, 2013.
  To be considered, all applicants must take a Japanese Language examination. Additionally, the following tests are required:
a Social Sciences & Humanities Majors: Mathematics and English
b Natural Sciences Majors: Mathematics, English, and two subjects from Physics, Chemistry, or Biology. All natural sciences applicants must sit examinations in five subjects (including the Japanese test). In the case of Physics, Chemistry and Biology, applicants must take the following examinations relative to their fields of study:
 
 
  Natural Sciences (A): Physics, Chemistry
Natural Sciences (B & C): Chemistry, Biology

 

SCHOLARSHIP EXAMINATIONS AND INTERVIEWS
  Scholarship examinations will be conducted on Thursday August 8, 2013
  An interview in English will follow the tests.
