A Consulate staff explains about the history of Hiroshima
On Monday, May 8, a Consulate staff visited the Rosa Parks Elementary School and gave a presentation on Hiroshima’s history, culture and society to the 5th graders in the Japanese Bilingual and Bicultural Program. The students learned about Hiroshima’s commitment to pursuing world peace as well as Hiroshima’s attractions such as Itsukushima Shrine, a World Cultural Heritage Site, and Hiroshima Castle.
