Members of the Winter Fancy Food Show 2016 Japan Pavilion team held a kickoff reception at Ozumo in San Francisco on Saturday, January 16th. Deputy Consul General Nobuhiro Watanabe from the Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco attended and gave a speech expressing his hopes for the Japan Pavilion’s success at the 3-day Fancy Food Show.
The reception featured a talk on Japanese food trends in the Bay Area and a Kaiseki-themed cooking demonstration. Guests thoroughly enjoyed dishes created using carefully selected “Hatsumono” ingredients and other delicious food.
