On Saturday, January 28, Deputy Consul General Nagayoshi gave remarks at the Japanese American Association of Northern California's New Year Party.
Traditionally at this event, selected individuals and groups that have worked over many years to advance Japan-U.S. relations and teach Japanese culture are inducted into the JAANC’s “Bunka Hall of Fame”. This year's honorees were: Ms. Reiko Iwanaga (Japanese Classical Dance) and Mr. and Mrs. Roy and PJ Hirabayashi (San Jose Taiko).
