On February 4th Consul General Yamada gave a toast at the JET Alumni Association of Northern California's New Year’s Party to JET Program Alumni and other community members in attendance. At the event Bruce Jaffe, a JET alumnus and one of the founders of the association, was recognized with an award for his many years of service.
