On Saturday, March 11th, the Southern Nevada Japanese Teachers’ Association and the Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco held the 13th Annual Japanese Speech Contest in Southern Nevada at the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts. Deputy Consul General Nagayoshi attended the event as one of the judges. With families, friends and teachers in audience, the total of 30 high school and university students participated in the Contest, successfully demonstrating their Japanese language skills.
