Mr. Metzler, the new Chair of the Board, giving his speech
On Wednesday, April 5, Consul General Jun Yamada gave the opening remarks at the Japan Society of Northern California (JSNC)'s Annual General Members Meeting. At the meeting, Mr. Jon Metzler, Lecturer of Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley, was appointed as the new Chair of the Board. Mr. Kozo Kimura of Asahi Beer U.S.A. Inc. was also in attendance as a guest speaker and gave a presentation introducing Asahi beer and the rich history and current market of the Japanese beer industry.
