48th Annual Manzanar Pilgrimage

On Saturday, April 29th, Consul General Jun Yamada joined the 48th Annual Manzanar Pilgrimage hosted by the Manzanar Committee at the Manzanar National Historic Site in Inyo County, California. Consul General Yamada listened the explanation at the now vacant lot of the internment camp and dedicated flowers to memorial tower. Also, Consul General attended the memorial event with Chiba Consul General of Japan in Los Angeles and delivered remarks.
