On Thursday, June 1, the Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco and Japan’s Yamagata Prefecture co-hosted a Yamagata Prefecture PR Reception –Experience Yamagata’s Best Sake and More!- at the Consul General’s residence in San Francisco and Consul General Yamada gave an address. At the reception, Yamagata Governor Mieko Yoshimura introduced Yamagata’s award winning sake and Tsuyahime, its premier rice brand; as well as several local crafts and points of interest.
