On Saturday, June 24th, the Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco in cooperation with the JET Alumni Association of Northern California (JETAANC) hosted an English teaching workshop for the JET Program participants who will depart for Japan at the end of July. The workshop was attended by 24 outbound JETs who learned from an experienced former JET about the role of ALTs (assistant language teachers) and how to teach English in Japanese elementary, junior-high and high schools.
