On Sunday, July 23, Consul General Yamada attended a farewell ceremony for the Sausalito student delegation to Sakaide, Japan. Mayor Ray Withy, Vice Mayor Joan Cox, President of Sausalito Sister Cities Inc. Susan Roe, Director of the Sausalito-Sakaide Program Dina Hatchuel, and about 40 local citizens participated in the ceremony to celebrate with the members of the delegation. Consul General Yamada, along with Mayor Withy, President Roe, and Director Hatchuel, made brief congratulatory remarks.
