On Wednesday, August 2, a delegation of 8 middle school students and officials from Shimonoseki, Japan, visited the Consulate en route to homestays in their sister city of Pittsburg. After Consul General Yamada welcomed the students, the group received a briefing from Advisor for Community Affairs Hiyama on the Japan-California relationship, as well as a tour of the facilities.
