On Thursday, August 10, the Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco held an educational exchange reception at Chico State for a group of educators and high school students from Okinawa and educators and interested persons from Chico State and the Chico community.
Following the reception, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Okinawa Board of Education, Chico State, and the Chico Unified School District to promote academic and cultural exchanges between them.
