Japanese and American high school students recognized at Stanford’s Japan Day

RSP and Stanford e-Japan student honorees
On Friday, August 11, Consul General Jun Yamada attended the Japan Day event at Stanford University to congratulate three high school students from the US and four high school students from Japan on their outstanding achievement as participants in the Reischauer Scholars Program and the Stanford e-Japan Program.
 
The two programs are offered by the Stanford Program on International and Cross-Cultural Education (SPICE) and enroll exceptional high school students from the US and Japan to engage in an intensive study of Japan and the US through online courses.
