The audience awaits the start of “Flower and Sword”
On Friday, September 1 through Sunday, September 3, the Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco partnered with the 5th Japan Film Festival of San Francisco to present three special film screenings. The screenings included the historic drama “Flower and Sword” (9/1), the modern drama “Her Love Boils Bathwater” (9/2), and the comedy “The Projects” (9/3). In total, around 400 people attended the three showings.
Consul General Yamada attended and gave remarks at the sold-out opening night screening of “Flower and Sword” on Friday, September 1. A special question and answer session featuring the director of “Her Love Boils Bathwater”, Ryota Nakano was also held during the screening on September 2.
