Consul General Yamada presents the Foreign Minister’s Commendation to Mr. Hashimoto
On Tuesday, October 3, Consul General hosted a Foreign Minister Commendation Ceremony for Mr. Richard Hashimoto. Mr. Hashimoto was recognized for his great contributions to promoting San Francisco Japantown, the preservation and spread of Japanese traditional culture in this region, and the strengthening the friendship between Japan and the United States through his continued activities in the community and as co-chair of the Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival and his great achievements towards the festival’s sustainable development.
