Henderson City Council members and representatives of Congressmen
On Saturday, October 14, the 2017 Aki Matsuri was held in Henderson, Nevada. Consul Ichioka attended and gave remarks in addition to holding the Consulate’s information booth promoting Japanese culture, tourism, and education. The opening ceremony was attended by the aides of several Congressmen as well as Henderson City Council members, further emphasizing the friendly relationship between Japan and the United States promoted by this festival.
