On Thursday, October 19, the Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco, in partnership with University of San Francisco (USF), presented “Gaming Insight: Video Games and Japan”, a lecture on career opportunities for Japanese language learners. Over 90 students attended this event. This lecture featured guest speaker Mr. Michael Evans, Director of Productions at Capcom.
Mr. Evans spoke about his personal experiences using Japanese and his experiences living in Japan as a tool to enhance his career. The program included a conversation with moderator Katherine De Leon as well as a Q&A session open to members of the audience.
