“ONCE IN JAPAN” Photo Contest Winners and Exhibit

The Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco is pleased to announce the results for its “ONCE IN JAPAN” Photo Contest 2017. 50 contestants submitted photographs from their recent trip to Japan, sharing the memories and stories of their unique experiences in Japan.
Consul General Jun Yamada and community representatives judged and selected the winners from among over 230 entries. First, Second, and Third Prize Winners will be awarded the latest models of digital cameras from contest sponsor, Canon USA.
The finalists’ photos will be displayed at the Japan Information & Cultural Center’s gallery from Wednesday, October 25, through Friday, December, 8. We hope you will be able to visit our gallery.
