On Saturday, October 28, Consul General Yamada hosted a gathering for US veterans who served in Japan. During his speech, Consul General Yamada expressed his appreciation for their dedication, and his heartfelt gratitude to the military, government, and people of the United States for their genuine friendship and generosity which has been extended to Japan for the past 72 years.
