School Visit Program (El Cerrito High School)

On Wednesday, November 1, a Consulate staff member visited El Cerrito High School and gave a presentation on the upcoming 2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games to three Japanese classes. Following a general introduction of Tokyo, he talked about the historical significance of the Tokyo 1964 Olympics as a symbol of Japan’s postwar recovery and he concluded his talk with an overview of the Tokyo 2020 Games and what the games mean for Japan.
