On Wednesday, November 8, Consul General Yamada held a luncheon at his residence honoring the new officers of the Ikebana Teachers Federation and Ikebana International. In his remarks, Consul General Yamada thanked the leadership of the two organizations for their activities in promoting traditional Japanese culture through ikebana (Japanese flower arranging).
