The Way of Tea 2018: Applications Available

The Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco, in partnership with Urasenke Foundation San Francisco, presents The Way of Tea 2018 program. This program seeks to introduce Northern California students to Japanese culture by way of the tea ceremony. This year, we are offering 6 sessions for elementary through college level students to be held in San Francisco. Each of these 2-hour lessons will consist of a presentation and hands-on portion in which students will participate in an actual tea ceremony.

This program is a fantastic opportunity for Japanese language classes, social studies classes, and cultural clubs. No Japanese Language experience necessary. Class sizes are limited to a maximum of 25 participants.
