On Saturday, November 11, Veteran’s Day, Consul General Jun Yamada delivered remarks at a Tribute to Nikkei Veterans at the Military Intelligence Service Historic Learning Center in the Presidio of San Francisco. The event was also celebrating the 4th anniversary of the Center’s opening. 442nd Regimental Combat Team veteran Lawson Sakai also delivered a speech, and there was a live performance by Anthony Brown’s Asian American Orchestra with Janice Mirikitani.
