On Saturday, November 18, Consul General Yamada attended the Japan Society of Northern California’s 31st Annual Award of Honor Gala and gave a welcome message and toast. Around 250 people attended the Gala, honoring Mr. David Pearson, CEO of Opus One, and Mr. Yuzo Kayama, a famous Japanese actor and singer, were both recognized for their contributions in strengthening U.S.-Japan relations in the business and entertainment worlds.
