On Saturday, January 13, Consul General Yamada gave opening remarks at the Japanese Chamber of Commerce of Northern California's (JCCNC) New Year's Party at the St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco. This year, Ms. Mai Kuraki, one of Japan's top female singers was the featured guest entertainer.
