Introductory Remarks by Bay Area Council’s Senior Executive Director Sean Randolph
On Monday, February 5, the Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco, in partnership with the Bay Area Council presented the seminar “Challenges in Asia-Pacific Trade Architecture and Japan's Trade Strategy in 2018”. About 60 people attended this event.

The seminar featured Mr. Yorizumi Watanabe, Professor at Keio University, who discussed the current power balance in the world’s economy, its effect on trade in the Asia-Pacific region, and Japan’s future trade strategy. The program concluded with a Q&A session facilitated by Bay Area Council’s Senior Executive Director Sean Randolph.
