Event: Country Spotlight, Japan: Sapporo, Snow Festivals, and Art in Hokkaido

On Wednesday, February, 28, the Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco, in partnership with the Asia Society of Northern California presented “Country Spotlight, Japan: Sapporo, Snow Festivals, and Art in Hokkaido”. Over 65 people attended the event.
The event featured a panel of speakers who spoke about regional culture, food, and their own experiences in Hokkaido. Speakers included JET Alumni Cerell Rivera, calligraphy artist Aoi Yamaguchi, and Masaki Schultz from Sapporo Breweries. After the discussion, attendees enjoyed regional snacks and drinks from Hokkaido.
