On Saturday, March 3, the Southern Nevada Japanese Teachers’ Association and the Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco held the 14th Annual Japanese Speech Contest in Southern Nevada at Spring Valley High School in Las Vegas. Deputy Consul General Nagayoshi attended the event as one of the judges. With families, friends and teachers in audience, a total of 32 middle/high school and university students participated in the Contest, successfully demonstrating their Japanese language skills.
