Pre-departure orientation for the 2018 JET Program early departure participants

On April 6, the Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco held a pre-departure orientation for the 2018 Japan Exchange & Teaching (JET) Program early departure participants. My Ting Cen and Tessa McGinty will teach English as assistant language teachers (ALTs) at local schools in Kobe-shi, Hyogo-ken and Higashiizu-cho, Shizuoka-ken. Melanie Ono and Noah Townsend will be engaged in community activities as coordinators for international relations (CIRs) at city halls in Ichikinokushikino-shi, Kagoshima-ken and Matsuzaka-shi, Mie-ken.
