On Saturday, April 28, the 3rd Japanese Speech Contest in the Greater Sacramento Area, organized by the California Association of Japanese Language Teachers, was held at Buddhist Church of Sacramento and a Consulate official attended as a judge. With families, friends and teachers in the audience, a total of 25 high school students, college students and heritage speakers successfully demonstrated their Japanese language skills.
