On Tuesday, May 15, Consul General Uyama attended the San Francisco Giants Baseball Team’s Japanese Heritage Night. With the cooperation of several Japanese American and Japanese community and corporate supporters, Japanese Heritage Night featured Japanese music, folk dancing, origami, and Japanese food and drink. Before the game, Consul General Uyama participated in an on-field interview, discussing the significant role baseball has played in the Japan-US relationship.
