On Sunday, May 20, the 19th Hakone Matsuri Festival was held at Hakone Gardens in Saratoga. Consul General Uyama gave remarks at the opening ceremony.
Attendees were entertained by a variety of cultural attractions, performances, and food, set to the backdrop of the Japanese gardens. The consulate also held an information booth and distributed materials on education, travel, and culture in Japan.
