Announcing the Results for 4-Koma Manga Contest

We are pleased to announce the results for our first 4-Koma Manga Contest! This contest was held to introduce the Japanese 4-koma (4 cell) comic format and to promote Japanese language, cultural education, and international exchange through manga. A total of 10 schools from Northern California participated.
First, Second, and Third Prize Winners will be awarded a certificate of achievement from the Consulate and prizes courtesy of Kinokuniya Bookstores of America and VIZ Media.
Select works will be displayed in the Japan Information and Cultural Center gallery from June 8 through July 10, 2018. We hope you will visit our gallery.
