On Saturday, June 23rd, the Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco in cooperation with the JET Alumni Association of Northern California (JETAANC) hosted an English teaching workshop for the 2018 JET Program participants. The workshop was attended by 21 outbound JETs who learned from an experienced former JET about the role of ALTs (assistant language teachers) and how to teach English in Japanese elementary, junior-high and high schools.
