Wagakki: The Sound, Art, and Craft of Shamisen

The Japan Information and Cultural Center at the Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco is proud to present an exhibit on Japanese musical instruments “Wagakki: The Sound, Art, and Craft of Shamisen” from July 16 until the end of August.

This exhibit will feature the history and craftsmanship of shamisen construction from the international shamisen community Bachido as well as showcasing other Japanese traditional musical instruments.
