Opening remarks at the orientation from a Consulate representative
Keynote speech by a JET Alumni
On Friday, August 3rd, the Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco held a Pre-departure Orientation for the 104 new participants of the 2018 JET Program, followed by a Farewell Reception hosted by Consul General Uyama at his official residence. On the following day, the JETs left San Francisco to Japan, and will head to their designated prefectures after a 3 day orientation in Tokyo.
