Consul General Uyama Attends Japan Fest in Fairfield

On Saturday, August 18, Consul General Tomochika Uyama attended and gave opening remarks at the 6th Annual Japan Fest at the Fairfield Community Center. Fairfield has had a sister city relationship with Nirasaki, Yamanashi Prefecture for 47 years, and this festival serves as a primary fundraiser for their sister city student homestay activities.
