On Tuesday, September 11, Consul General Tomochika Uyama hosted a reception at his official residence for members of the Japan Climate Initiative who attended the Global Climate Action Summit (GCAS) in San Francisco. Members of the press also attended the event. At GCAS, representatives of Japanese businesses and local governments made presentations and proposed plans on how Japan will deal with the planet’s climate issue.
