2018 Japan Film Festival of San Francisco

On Saturday and Sunday, September 29 and 30, the Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco partnered with the 2018 Japan Film Festival of San Francisco to present two special film screenings, historic drama “SEKIGAHARA”, the modern drama “MAGIC KIMONO”. In total, over 250 people attended the two showings.

Consul General Uyama attended and gave remarks at the screening of “SEKIGAHARA” on Saturday, September 29, with a special question and answer session featuring director Masato Harada followed the film. The screening of “MAGIC KIMONO” on Sunday, September 30 included a Q&A session with actress Kaori Momoi.
