13th Annual Millbrae Japanese Culture Festival

On Sunday, October 7, Deputy Consul General Nagayoshi participated in and greeted the audience during the opening ceremony of the 13th Annual Millbrae Japanese Culture Festival which was held in Millbrae. Mayor Kawata of Hanyu, Millbrae’s friendship city in Japan also attended the festival.

Japanese cultural performances including taiko drumming, martial arts, singing, and Japanese dance were held on stage. The Consulate staffed its Japan Information booth to provide information on Japanese culture, tourism, and studying in Japan.
