On Saturday, October 22, Consul General Uyama attended the Japan Society of Northern California’s 32nd Annual Award of Honor Gala. Consul General Uyama led a toast, congratulating former U.S. Secretary of Defense, the Honorable William J. Perry, and Executive Chairman of Hitachi, Mr. Hiroaki Nakanishi, on receiving the 2018 awards. The gala was hosted by Gala Co-chairs, Ms. Nobuko Saito Cleary and Mr. C. Lawrence Greenwood, Jr.
