On Saturday, November 10, Consul General Tomochika Uyama delivered remarks at a tribute to Asian and Pacific Islander American veterans at the Military Intelligence Service Historic Learning Center in the Presidio of San Francisco, held by the National Japanese American Historical Society. The 442nd Regimental Combat Team veteran Lawson Sakai also delivered a speech on behalf of all veterans.
