2019 Keiro Kai/New Year's Celebration in Morgan Hill

On Saturday, January 26, Consul General Tomochika Uyama attended and delivered welcome remarks at the annual Keiro Kai/New Year’s Celebration held at the Morgan Hill Buddhist Community Center. During his remarks, Consul General Uyama presented Mr. Brian Shiroyama, a longtime volunteer organizer in the Japanese American community, with the Consul General’s Commendation. About 150 seniors and family members were present for the event, and everyone enjoyed bento boxes, karaoke performances, and a raffle.
