Consul General Uyama delivers his welcome remarks
On Saturday, February 9, Consul General and Mrs. Tomochika Uyama attended and delivered remarks at the annual membership meeting of the Friends & Family of Nisei Veterans (FFNV) at the Morgan Hill Buddhist Community Center. About 75 people attended and enjoyed a potluck lunch and a panel presentation/discussion about the rescue of the “Lost Battalion” in France in 1944.
