On Tuesday, Feb. 26, Deputy Consul General Iryu visited California State University, East Bay and gave a special lecture on “Japan’s Efforts for Promoting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)” to two classes, an Asian Political Economy class and an Asian Culture class. Since some of the students will be participating in a Model UN conference representing Japan taking place this summer, the students asked various questions about Japan’s SDG efforts.
